Research Project

long time since I have blogged. Sorry for bad spelling =P

We are doing a research project on things that we would like to learn about.

         My project is on the Ganglion cyst in my wrist. I’m focusing on how to get rid of this small thing in my wrist thats hurting me. I’m going to have to find lots of research and info from people and the web to find all these facts about this cyst.

        I’m excited to find the answer to my problems. I have had this cyst in my wrist for over a year now. I sall a doctor he said “We have to wait till it grows” it has not grown and it has not shrieked. I don’t know what to do but i will figure out some new things about it as I do research.

   Viruses are non living orgenells . There not living because they don’t have any cells. The parts of a virus are prophage; when viral DNA becomes part of it’s host cell’s DNA. Also a part is Viroid; a single strand of RNA that has no capsod. Last Prions; misshappend verions of protiens found in a brain.

       they produce by injecting there self in a cell by either useing the lytic cycle or the lysogentic cycles.

       Lytic cycle is the cycle of viral infections, reproducing, and cell divition. The viruses use cells organelles to replicate viral DNA. The host cell kills the virus and starts a viral infection.

      Lysogentic cycle is new virus particles that are not assembled and host cell is not destroyed. viral genes become part of host cells, host cells copies itself, and viral DNA is copied with it.

My goal for the semester☻☺

         hey, long time since I posted.

          my goal for this semester is I want to get better grades than last semester I want a lot of A’s this time and fewer B’s. I’m going to do all my work in class meaning when a alignment is giving ill work my hardest to get it done and right. I’m going to study for test. meaning I’m going to find out what I need to study than study it. I’m also not going to be stressed out over test. when I get stressed out I forget what I study it sucks I can’t get a good grade with that.

        My next goal is I want to get any job that pays good money. Meaning I don’t care ware I work I just want a job. To get this I need to get a workers permit. Also I need to talk to my parents about getting a job there not to happy I’m growing up. =p. Lastly I need to work on job applications to get ready to send in when I do the following. Got any tips for me?

Hey,

     In my reading class we have been reading about education in prisons. Also about if there good or bad to have. will it help to have educations in prison? what are some of the issues? whats going to happen to the people who try to get through the education process?

            The positives of educations in prisons are you have a chance to make something out of your life and actually get a GED. If you make a mistake you should have a chance to get back on top and forget the past.

        The negatives to one is people sometimes spend tax money on the prisons and sometimes people don’t get better at breaking the law they get worse. It is a good thing they put auditions

     People say that education is a chance to start a new. And sometimes its a chance to make a bad beginning. Sometimes it can be a plot to get smarter and start an evil plan or something.

        My thoughts are pretty much the same. I think prisons should get an education because it is a chance to start fresh and become something of yourself for once. People make mistakes and should have a chance to change their self and become a better human being for the planet. If nothing works for a person and they can’t do it then they can just stayed locked up and not make something out of themself. Anyone can do anything and you have to say yes to get to where u have to be you need to put effort in to it and you will succeed and you will achieve

☻☺Thanksgiving☺☻

        On thanksgiving day me and my family meet together at my aunt and uncle’s house. I feel good going there because the older people are cooking and all the kids are outside playing games like basketball or football. We might also be playing video games.

     It is very loud in my house it sounds like a party and smells like a restaurant and makes you very hungry. It smells like stuffing, turkey, chicken and noodles, and more.

       Before we eat we would be starving.  when the food is ready I get the Sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, chicken and noodles, And most importantly turkey!! Most of the food I eat is homemade. the food makes me feel good and full when i’m done. After the family is full we play card games and watch NFL® football. =]

      I hope this thanksgiving is going to be amazing…. =]

MY PHOTOSYNTESIS BOOK CON….

        Lets talk about my book i’m making in my reading class. I have made 3 pages so far. I still have 5 more pages to go.

      It’s ok putting it all together i just messed a day so its going to be hard to get back on tom.

      My goal for today is to do one page. complete it =]

MY GOAL FOR PHOTOSYNTHESIS!

        Hey I was not here one of these days of the week. So this book well be harder to get done on time. But my goal is to Work hard and get this book done.

      My book is about pretty much wonders on how phoytosynthesis works. like parts needed to make it. The main character of my book is bob. He is a lazy guy who tells the story on how photosynethisis works.

     I have Image’s like parts of the photosynthesis such as suns, plants, water, and people etx….

Independent reading update!!!!

      Hello mentor.

           I read a book called Tears of a tiger. I finished it and i think it was really good it’s everything I liked to read about (sports, danger, sadness).

       Now I’m reading a book i read before but don’t remember any of it really. It’s called “Out Of The Dust.” I think it’s a really good book because it’s a girl suffering in her everyday life and witnesses her own moms death and she’s really good at playing piano well in till she got injured. I think it’s going to get better as it goes. I’m liking this one.

      I have some questions:

The Photosynthesis Book Ill Be making

          In reading class (the class i’m in to write my blogs), we (the class) were assigned to write a children’s book on photosynthesis. To dot his we had to read books on how it works and easy ways to make the reading make sence. I have  been reading them i found out that for it to be fun you have to make it fiction but the writing is true.

          My Project right now is good. I’m about done with my rough draft and my book will be about how photosynthesis works and what is need to make it work. Of coarse since it’s for a 5th grader i might have to make it a little cheesy to a high schooler but fun for a 5th grader.

         Got any tips for me? Do you think i’m doing this right? any questions you want to ask? comment me =] thanks =]

Books And how the Info is bad or good

      In class yesterday (oct-21-2009 My brothers birthday happy 18th b-day) The class worked on books that gave the best info. For example We used 7 biology books that were in different grade levles. There was one book  that had too! much information. that can be hard to read because they had small words and pictures with know arrows pointing to them. There was also a book that had only a small paragraph and a lame picture with it. You would only know a little about the thing you are trying to read (blook cells).

       We were learning about cells and i think the best book with good info, good picutres, and geat words to read was “Universes Large And Small CELLS” The author used colorful boxes to divide the sections up and used bolded words to tell definitions and things like that. The pictures were very well dawn and shows what they look like better then real photos in the other books.
